We encourage students to apply for one or more of the summer and semester scholarships listed below. Students will be considered for more than one award per term as long as all scholarship requirements have been completed by the deadline. Scholarship applicants should have started an Amizade program application by the scholarship deadline.

Amizade summer and semester scholarships are not intended to impact the financial aid provided by your home institution, however, we encourage you to contact the appropriate office to report any scholarship funds. There are also many other grants and scholarships available and creative ways for you to save and fundraise for your study abroad program.

Amizade encourages Pell Grant eligible students to apply for the Gilman Scholarship. Amizade will award students who receive the Gilman Scholarship an additional $500 toward their program.
