Torey Siebart
Outreach Coordinator
Site Liaison | Ghana, Appalachia, Washington D.C.
Torey Siebart, originally from Uniontown, PA, graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in International Studies, with focuses on International Development, and a minor in Political Science. During her undergrad, she participated in an Amizade-led service semester in Cochabamba, Bolivia. That experience ignited her passion to become a global citizen and inspired her to work with fostering Fair Trade Learning exchanges. She participated in several Model United Nations conferences around the world, confronting key global issues such as climate change, which even brought her to a conference in the Galapagos Islands. At her previous role with a New Deal museum in Arthurdale, WV, she organized service-learning days for groups of international students to visit, volunteer, and learn about that unique American history and culture. As Outreach Assistant, Torey is excited to talk with students and organizations about Amizade’s unique programs and the very opportunities that, years prior, positively impacted and shaped her own life and future.
