Inquiries will be reviewed within 2 weeks of receipt at the Amizade Office. Following review, you will be contacted by an Amizade staff member

Once accepted, submit your $300 deposit to confirm your spot in the program:
(deposits are non-refundable unless program is cancelled by Amizade)

Next, all individual volunteers must review and complete:

Program Payments: 
You will receive an invoice for your full program fee with your acceptance email. Program payments can be submitted in any denomination, and anytime up until the Program Payment Deadline noted on your invoice.

*In addition to our secure online payment system, deposits and program fees may be paid via check and mailed to the Amizade office at:

** In respect and for the protection of Amizade’s community partners, all individual volunteers are required to complete a background check before departing on an Amizade sponsored program. All reports must be dated within 6 months prior to your placement.  Amizade uses a service called Justifacts to complete all background checks.  The cost of this background check is $40 for all individual volunteer applicants, with the exception of New York residents, who will be charged $100 to cover all NY state background check fees. Once you have submitted your deposit and confirmed your program, we will submit your name to Justifacts and you will receive an email and link to complete and submit your information authorization for the background check.
