We are thrilled to announce Amizade’s newest partnership with FSD Bolivia!
FSD Bolivia formerly existed as a site team under the U.S.-based Foundation for Sustainable Development but has since developed into its own, independent entity in Bolivia and established a new organizational partnership with Amizade. Amizade is honored to add FSD Bolivia to its robust network of community partners and further FSD Bolivia’s legacy of community-driven development and international exchange.
In partnership with FSD Bolivia, we are offering several long-term programs focused on asset-based community development.
FSD Bolivia: FSD Bolivia seeks to achieve community-driven goals through asset-based development and international exchange in Latin America. FSD Bolivia formerly existed as a site team under the U.S.-based Foundation for Sustainable Development but has since developed into its own, independent entity in Bolivia. FSD Bolivia believes that the power to end poverty and achieve sustainable prosperity is in people. FSD Bolivia’s approach focuses on mobilizing resources–human, economic, and natural–for sustainable, life-changing initiatives. FSD Bolivia uses an asset-based community development approach that encourages self-reliance and inspires appreciation of existing resources in the community and the confidence to build upon them. They facilitate change by bringing together voices from the community, the ongoing efforts of local groups and organizations, and the local resources identified in the community, connecting them with international students, professionals, and donors who want to make a difference.
