6th Annual Global Service-Learning Institute

Amizade is thrilled to announce, in partnership with Cornell University and New York Campus Compact, the 6th Annual Global Service-Learning Institute to take place on the campus of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York May 29th – 31st, 2013.

The intensive institute will provide faculty, administrators, and professional teaching staff with the reflective space and time to discuss and explore the themes of student learning and community development with a focus on advancing equity and opportunity through Fair Trade Learning.  This institute is a wonderful and unique opportunity for those who teach global and international service-learning courses, are considering developing a global service-learning course or program, are interested in transforming an international course into one that is community-connected, and anyone with an interest in meeting and exchanging ideas on these important topics.
