Amizade was founded in Brazil fifteen years ago and has cooperated with community partners in Santarem to construct youth centers, community centers, trade schools, and much, much more. Your group’s service program will be identified based on current needs in the community, which may include building projects, environmental initiatives, and more. Your service will take place in the city at the confluence of the Amazon and Tapajos Rivers, and you will have many opportunities to learn more about the region and make a difference for the children and families in this particularly impoverished part of Brazil.
