Area of Greatest Need - Amizade deeply appreciates your willingness to allow us to continue to support community-driven service across cultures around the world. Your kindness permits us to leverage your resources to the fullest extent possible, in whatever area they are most needed presently.
Auschwitz Holocaust Remembrance and Historical Landscape Preservation Program* – Support Amizade’s efforts to enhance Holocaust Remembrance, ongoing anti-genocide efforts, and historical landscape preservation relating to Auschwitz.
Bolivia’s Millennium Cradle House* – Giving to the Cradle House ensures that two dozen children have access to basic necessities such as clean diapers, sufficient food and water, ongoing care and play opportunities.
Brazil Community Partners: Fundação Esperança, Pastoral do Menor, APAE* – Give to support health care access, opportunities for children and families, or support for children with disabilities. If you’re responding to a specific initiative from our Brazil site coordinators, please indicate that initiative in the “comments” section of the order form.
Tanzania Water Harvesting Initiative* – Help ensure access to one of the most essential resources for human life: water. By giving to the water harvesting initiative you provide families with the basic materials for sustainable and self-sufficient water access.

Your entire donation is applied toward the important effort you’ve indicated, but some of your donation is affected by the real costs of the donation transaction en route to our community partner. These costs include credit card processing fees, wiring fees, receipt processing, the annual audit that helps us maintain our 501c3 nonprofit status, and careful record-keeping to verify the legitimacy of the programming for which you’ve made a donation. We absolutely ensure that 90% of your donation is extended directly to the program you’ve marked, even if we lose some money by holding to that 90% standard (which we sometimes do).
