Several months have passed since the release of our
last newsletter and we would like to update all of you
on the many exciting opportunities that are up and
coming for later this summer and the fall. Amizade
would like to extend a warm welcome to any new
members who are receiving this newsletter and to all

The Navajo: Experience A New Culture
|
|
Central to Navajo culture is the concept of "hozho."
This single word has a complex meaning, but primarily
conveys ideas about beauty, goodness, happiness
and harmony. For the past six years, Amizade
volunteers have experienced time living in "hozho"
among the red rocks and high desert plateaus at the
Navajo Nation in Tuba City, Arizona.
