Greetings!
We hope you are enjoying the summer sun! Weve been busy
working to redesign some of our volunteer programs to allow
more flexibility for our volunteers. This newsletter covers a
wide variety of topics ranging from our newly introduced
customized programs, to needing your help with an ongoing
project in Bolivia. We ask for you to take a minute to cast

you an alternative way to make a difference through a

Help Build a School in Bolivia!

For the past two years volunteers have been hard at
work, contributing to the construction of a high
school in a rural Quechua community in Bolivia. We
are estimating that with one more year of work, the
school will be finished and fully utilized by the
community. Volunteers are needed to make this
happen.

Many people ask Amizade staff what they can do if
they dont have the time or resources to participate
in a volunteer program. There are many ways to be
involved, and one very exciting opportunity exists
through Heifer International. If you are not already
familiar, please take a few minutes and learn more
about this wonderful organization.
