It’s a simple and incredibly powerful thing – friendship. We are inspired by the vision that communities around the world can connect with one another to meet needs and make change happen. And we realize the true building blocks of these projects go beyond brick – it is the friendships that are cultivated, breaking down stereotypes and building us all as members of the global community.

Sharing Culture - Service as a means
At the heart of the cross-cultural service experience is the belief that bringing cultures together creates understanding, compassion, and sense of purpose in people. As our world becomes increasingly globalized, we are more aware than ever of the connection and commonalities among human beings the world over but we often don’t have the means to connect to each other in ways that go beyond the snapshot, the news article, or the clip on TV.
